Counseling
Welcome to the Ralston Valley High School Counseling Department!
The Ralston Valley High School counseling program provides innovative, data-driven and equitable student-centered services to develop and empower students to be positive contributors and life-long learners in a diverse global society.
Our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for all students to build resilience and realize their full potential.
At RV, students are assigned to their counselor based on the first one to two letters of their last name. Below you will find counselor assignments and the ways you can get in touch with us.
Students are always welcome to stop by the Counseling Office during an off block or lunch to visit with their counselor if they are available. If a student is experiencing urgent mental health concerns, please notify our office and ask to speak to a counselor immediately. Please don’t hesitate to reach out; we’re here to help!
On this website, you will find details about a variety of topics from course registration and graduation requirements, to planning for life after high school, finding mental health support, and accessing your school records. You can scroll down on this page to easily access the information.
The Counseling Department also has a section in RV’s weekly Mustang News. This is the best way for you to access details of our upcoming events, scholarships, job or internship opportunities, deadlines, and other information.
We look forward to supporting you and being a part of your high school journey!
