STEM/Engineering
Ralston Valley students interested in a possible career in the STEM fields or engineering will get a headstart with this CTE program.
Courses Offered
B.E.S.T. Robotics
Calling all problem-solvers: the robotics team needs you. No previous robotics experience is necessary. We need people who can program, design and build, and also who can write, market and present. Join our fun and highly successful robotics team.
Rocket Club
Every year, we have an opportunity to work with Ball Aerospace and United Launch Alliance on a payload design. This payload is then placed inside a giant model rocket – like 40 feet tall – and launched a mile high. Our payload idea can compete against teams from around the country or it can be anything. You dream it up and we'll try it out.
Society of Women Engineers (SWE)
SWE is the world's largest advocate and catalyst for change for women in engineering and technology. This is a great chance to get plugged into a network of amazing women offering opportunities for women in engineering. Join this well-established team and get a chance to talk with real women engineers and engage in cool opportunities.
Technology Student Association (TSA)
TSA enhances personal development, leadership and career opportunities in STEM, whereby members apply and integrate these concepts through intracurricular activities, competitions and related programs.
Are you interested in technology, engineering or design? If so, come check out TSA. Prepare for events to compete at a state competition in February. The events range from structural and catapult design to video production, fashion design, programming and more.
