Advanced Placement (AP)
AP Courses
Advanced Placement (AP) courses give students another way to earn college credit. At the end of an AP course, students take a national standardized test to qualify for college credit. Students may earn college credit for scoring a three or higher on the AP exams. The credit is guaranteed to transfer, but it’s not guaranteed to apply to degree requirements. Please contact the colleges you wish to attend to see how your AP scores will be accepted.
Students who enroll in AP courses are agreeing to remain in a yearlong course for the entire school year. AP courses have an approximate $99 charge per final test. The Advanced Placement exam must be taken to remain eligible to be awarded an Honors Diploma.
AP Exams
AP exam fees will be available in students' accounts after Sept. 12th. Students have until Oct. 23 to pay their $99 per-test fee.
All students must be enrolled in each course's AP classroom before a test can be ordered for them. Students should work with their teacher to obtain join codes.
