Summer Information 

Main Office

School will be open through June 11th with office hours from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. School will be closed Wednesday, June 12th through Friday, July 12th. Summer hours will resume from Monday, July 15th until school begins in August.

(All students will be provided access to free school meals.) 

9th Grade Orientation - August 15th 

ONLY students in 9th attend school this full day of school.   

This is the day many of their questions will be answered!

Buses will run their normal schedule and students should arrive by 8:00 a.m. to gather outside the main doors.  At 8:15 a.m. we will kick off the day with our Freshmen Welcome Assembly!  Students will tour the school, follow their schedule, and meet teachers, counselors, staff, and administrators. 

Students will also take Lifetouch pictures (for the yearbook and school IDs).  Additionally, 9th grade students should bring their previously Jeffco issued device given to them in middle school (if they attended a Jeffco School).  They will be issued a new Chromebook on this day.  

A pizza lunch will be provided.  If your student has dietary restrictions, please plan to bring a sack lunch.


UPPERCLASSMEN NEW TO RVHS

An orientation will be given to upperclassmen new to RVHS on Thursday, August 15th at 2:00 p.m.  Students should check in at the main office. 

No tours will be given prior to  August 15. 

Lockers

Lockers will be assigned to all freshmen. The locker number and combination will appear on the student’s schedule.  

Supply List

RVHS does not have an official supply list. Teachers will provide information about items needed for each class on the first day of school.

Picture Day & ID  

NOTE: Beginning Tuesday, August 20, students will be required to present their school issued ID to enter the building.


9th Grade: 9th grade students should be prepared to have their picture taken for their school ID and the yearbook during 9th Grade Orientation Day on Thursday, August 15.  


10th-11th Grades: Students in grades 10-12 will have their picture taken for their school ID on Monday, August 19.  For 10th and 11th grade students, the ID picture will also be the picture submitted on their behalf for publication in the yearbook.  


12th Grade: Students in the Class of 2025 should upload their senior photo via the Ralston Valley High School Yearbook website.  Please note the deadline for submitting pictures is Friday, November 1. 

Buses

All students must be registered for the bus if they intend to ride. Please visit the district’s transportation website for all information in regard to busing.

Fall Athletic Registration 

Fall Athletic Registration begins July 22nd and closes Monday, August 9th. Fall sports include Cheerleading, Cross Country, Girls' Flag Football, Football, Boys' Golf, Gymnastics, Boys' Soccer, Softball, Boys' Tennis, and Volleyball. 

Parking

The parking registration form and fee payment will become available in early August.  

Students who have completed the registration form online and paid the parking fee in Campus, can pick up their parking tag in the cafeteria during I.C.E on August 20 and 22 for seniors, and during I.C.E. on August 27 and August 29 for juniors.
