15 hours of earned online & face-to-face activity time are due in Senior Seminar by Dec. 9th. Please see your Senior Seminar class in Schoology for more info.
Senior Seminar is a mandatory course that takes place in the fall semester only, and students are eligible to earn 0.25 credits with a passing grade. There will be four face-to-face sessions over the next couple of months, as well as supplementary assignments on Schoology to support students’ postsecondary goals. In small groups, counselors will be meeting with all of the students in their alphabet. Each session will last 40 minutes and take place during students’ off blocks. Students will be receiving an email from their counselor later today or tomorrow with their assigned time and location. We ask that students attend at that time due to space and scheduling logistics. If students are unable to attend due to other academic conflicts, they should have a conversation with their counselor.
Soon students will see the course appear in their Infinite Campus schedule during the off block they are assigned. The sessions will take place over the following dates. Which of the two dates you are required to attend will depend on which off block it is scheduled for you.

Session 2: September 27 or 28
•
Session 3: October 25 or 26
•
Session 4: November 1 or 2
During our first face-to-face session, we will provide an overview of what is required to complete the course. In addition to the in-person meetings, students will also need to complete various assignments in Schoology, depending on their postsecondary pathway. In order to receive credit for the course, students will need to complete everything by December 9, 2022.
